every burn is public on the buybacks page: how much $PEAR was burned, how much SOL it cost, and a solscan link to both the buy and the burn. the coins launched with the buyback switched on are listed there too, and the running 🔥 $PEAR burned total sits at the top right of every page. the check runs by itself every few minutes: it collects the creator fees of those coins, buys $PEAR on the open market with all of it, burns exactly what it bought, and saves the receipts. it only ever spends fees it just collected — never anyone's payment — and it never buys or burns twice.
